It is an editor with generative models also built in. Generators give you a finished file and hope you like it. If you don't, you start over. Vindeo gives you a real project instead: your clips on a timeline, with a cut tool and an undo button. The AI works like an editor, not like a slot machine.

You fix that one thing. Move the cut, delete the clip, change the caption. You never have to redo the whole video just to fix four seconds of it.

Some basics, yes. Vindeo is a real editor, so it helps if you know what a cut is and how a timeline works. But that is the whole list. You don't need years of practice, you don't need to learn a complex program, and you don't need to know where anything is hidden in a menu. If you have ever trimmed a video on your phone, you already know enough to start.

Yes, and that is the point. Upload from your computer or connect Google Drive and Dropbox. You can also start with just an idea and let the AI build the footage, but Vindeo is made for your material first.

For a typical 90-second promo, we estimate about 10 minutes: a few minutes to tell the AI what you want, a few minutes while it works, and a couple of minutes for your own changes. Doing the same edit by hand usually takes well over an hour. Your own times will depend on your footage and on how much you change.

Only if your footage does. Vindeo cuts your clips, at your pace, using your colors and fonts from your BrandKit on Pro and Studio. Captions are styled for each video instead of copied from a template. The AI makes editing choices, it does not apply a preset.

Credits pay for the work the AI does, and different kinds of work cost different amounts. AI editing, captions and cutting use few credits. Generating video or audio and extending clips use many times more. Anything you do by hand is free on every plan, and so is exporting: cutting or moving clips yourself never costs credits. If you edit a lot and ask the AI a little, you will barely use them.

Yes. Your videos are yours. You can use them for clients, for sponsored posts and for paid ads, and there is no extra license to buy from us. The free plan comes with the same rights as the paid ones; its videos simply carry a watermark. Generated music, voices and shots are made with third-party AI models, so for those parts, commercial use is covered within the license terms of the provider behind each model.

Not without your permission. Your private footage, your projects and what you type are used to make your video, and they are not used to train AI models unless you explicitly agree. We choose AI providers that do not train on what we send them, and use the shortest data retention each one offers, down to none where the model allows it.

Most of what Vindeo does is normal editing: cutting, captions, pacing, motion graphics. Platforms do not treat that as AI-generated media. Generated shots, voices and music are a different case. YouTube, TikTok and Instagram all ask you to say when media is AI-made, and under their current rules saying so does not by itself affect monetization. Vindeo marks which clips on your timeline were generated, so you always know what to declare. Exported files also carry a machine-readable label for generated content (such as C2PA Content Credentials), as Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires, and platforms that read it may add an AI label to your post on their own.

Yes. Every plan can export, and exporting never costs credits. The free plan exports in 720p with a watermark, and Pro and Studio export in Full HD without one. Files you export are yours to keep and use wherever you like.

No. Vindeo runs in your browser and the heavy work happens on our machines. There is nothing to install and no graphics card needed. It works the same on a five year old laptop as on a new one. You do need a decent internet connection.

Bonus credits. The earlier your seat, the bigger the pack waiting for you on your first day, whichever invite wave you join in. Credits are what powers the AI, so this is real working time, not a discount coupon. Joining costs nothing. No card, no trial timer, and nothing is charged while Vindeo is in private beta.

Not yet. The pricing, plans and features on this page are what we plan to launch with, and they may change before Vindeo is released. If they do, everyone on the waitlist will hear about it from us before launch.

We are aiming for the first quarter of 2027. Invites go out in waves, and each wave is put together to suit that stage of the beta, so invites may not follow the order people joined in. What your place on the list does fix is the size of your bonus credits. When your invite arrives you just open a link and start.*
